Cook Around the Globe - May 2012 Roundup

  

Welcome to the roundup of my exploration of the cuisines of Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, and the Philippines. As always, I have greatly enjoyed this month's cuisines and discovered several recipes that will make it on our menu again. My favorite dish was Zhu Rou Su (Baked Pastry with Ground Pork). Runners-up were Filipino Empanadas and Curried Noodles with Peas and Coconut Milk. (Most of the recipes are not online - yet. If you are interested in a particular recipe, please let me know and I will type it up.)
