A quick & easy side salad from Denmark, this is a very simple yet crunchy and fruity slaw. The original recipe used caraway seeds but as that is an absolute no-go for me (to me, caraway is absolutely repelling, I really dislike the taste), I used cumin instead. 150 g red cabbage, finely shredded
1-2 apples, peeled and coarsely grated
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp ground cumin
2-3 tbsp vinaigrette
Place all ingredients in a bowl and toss to mix.
