Lamb and Shrimp Kebabs

1/2 pound ground lamb
1 tsp salt
2 garlic cloves, smashed
1/2 cup coarsely grated red onion
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
3/4 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp black pepper
12 medium shrimp, peeled, deveined, coarsely chopped

vegetable oil

Mix together all ingredients, except shrimp. Once everything is well blended, fold in the shrimp. With moist hands, form 12  2"-long kebabs (about 2 tbsp meat mix each). Spray a large enough skillet with oil, and heat over medium heat. Add kebabs and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Serve with tabasco-seasoned ketchup (just add some drops of tabasco to your regular ketchup), Cilantro-Scallion Bread and a side salad.
