Don't we all love quick and simple dishes that have a lot of taste as well? This is one of those. You can of course use steak for this dish but it sure tastes better with fillet.
300 g beef fillet, cut into very thin strips
3 tbsp soy sauce
3/4 tbsp brown sugar
100 g red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
150 g green bell pepper, cut into thin strips
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 bunch scallions, thinly sliced
2 dashes crushed red pepper
2-3 tbsp oil
1 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp cornstarch
Whisk together soy sauce and sugar. Mix with meat and let marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes. Heat 1-2 tbsp oil in a wok over high heat. Add meat and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Remove from the wok. Heat remaining oil in the wok. Add bell pepper, scallions, garlic and red pepper. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Add meat and cook for 1 minutes. Mix cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and add together with oyster sauce and sesame oil to the wok. Bring everything to a boil and serve immediately.
